OUR STORY

PHILOSOPHY

LAND OF THE BEGINNING

This wonderful journey into the world of coffee began in 2013 when Salar volunteered with Engineers Without Borders on a Costa Rican coffee farm. His experience with passionate farmers inspired him to share these exceptional flavors with coffee enthusiasts in the U.S.

This coffee is crafted using the Red Honey process, where beans are dried with a significant amount of mucilage still attached, fostering a sweeter, more fruit-forward profile.

Tirra Honey coffee emerges from the innovative honey-processing method where coffee cherries are partially dried with some mucilage remaining, imparting a unique, sweet character.

It is our vision to source the extraordinary

Cultiva, rooted in Central America, is dedicated to importing sustainably-sourced, high-quality coffee beans while enriching coffee communities.

Conservation.
Our passion, our purpose.

It is said that tradition is not the veneration of the ashes but the passing of the flame. Undoubtedly la joya de la corona in Cultiva's coffees are the traditional Costa Rican farming practices, which have shaped the millennial story of Costa Rica's coffee profile.
